Hadoop HDFS DataNode Status

Display the status of the NameNode as "STARTED" or "STOPPED".

Check if the HDFS DataNode server is running. The process ID is located by default inside "/var/run/hadoop-hdfs/hadoop-hdfs-datanode.pid".
